Nicolás Maldonado is a Lexvalor Abogados associate lawyer whose practice is focused on corporate law and dispute resolution. As a counselor, he represents clients in arbitration, civil, and administrative proceedings.

Nicolás graduated cum laude as a lawyer from Universidad San Francisco de Quito, where he was a member of the Business Law Club, on the Legal Journal Editorial Committee, and part of the arbitration team representing the University in national and international competitions.

He is now a USFQ-certified mediator, a student at the Arbanza School of Arbitration, a member of the Spanish and Ibero-American Arbitration Club, an external editor for the UDLA Law Review Journal, and a deputy director of the Ecuadorian Institute of Procedural Law (Instituto Ecuatoriano de Derecho Procesal), in whose projects he actively participates.
