Firm partner Paola Gachet co-leads the tax law, administrative law, and public procurement practice areas and is also a member of our Immigration Department. She works on cases entailing complex negotiations with the State, public policy counseling, and business strategy development, contributing to such highly sensitive decision-making processes as State contracting, corporate restructuring analysis, and litigation proceedings.

Paola is the founder and director of the Ecuador chapter of the International Fiscal Association and a member of the chapter’s Tax Committee and State Contracts Committee. She is also the founder of the Ecuador chapter of the Cyrus R. Vance Center’s Women in the Profession Program, which seeks to promote the advancement of women in the legal profession. She is active in the firm’s pro bono activities and works closely with national non-profits and international NGOs.
