
Her professional practice focuses on environmental law, with an emphasis on environmental governance, sustainability, and legal management of environmental projects. She has experience in regulatory analysis, cooperation instruments, and financing mechanisms for environmental and conservation projects.
Before joining Lexvalor, in her public practice, she was Office Coordinator at the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Ecological Transition, currently the Ministry of Environment and Energy, and Advisor at the Water Regulation and Control Agency.
In her private practice, she has collaborated with various law firms and has worked as a legal and technical consultant for national and international conservation organizations, including Pew Bertarelli Ocean Legacy, focused on the protection of marine ecosystems and the establishment of marine protected areas; Fundación Jocotoco, an Ecuadorian organization dedicated to biodiversity conservation and the management of nature reserves; and The Ocean Foundation, an international organization that promotes marine conservation projects, ocean governance, and financing for ocean protection.
She was part of the team from the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Ecological Transition in the negotiation of the Debt Swap for Conservation for the Hermandad-Galápagos Marine Reserve, which was successfully completed in May 2023.
