
In the private sector, she collaborated for several years with law firms and held managerial positions in non-governmental organizations dedicated to sustainable development. She has also provided consultancy services to international and multilateral organizations, such as the World Bank, United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and USAID. Additionally, she has advised major business groups on regulatory development and the preparation of projects and observations regarding the impacts of various legal bodies to be approved by the National Assembly, with most of her interventions being adopted by the legislators.
She was the official delegate and team leader for the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Ecological Transition in the Debt-for-Nature Swap negotiation for the Hermandad Marine Reserve – Galápagos, which concluded successfully in May 2023.
Currently, she focuses on providing legal advisory services in environmental and sustainability matters, with an emphasis on sustainable financial tools and sustainability strategies for the private sector.
