Alfredo Peñaherrera, founding partner of Peñaherrera & Ponce Abogados, became the presiding partner of Lexvalor Abogados upon the merger of the two firms. Prior to joining the firm, he was the Ecuadorian consul general in Geneva, Switzerland, where he also served as Ecuador’s chargé d’affaires and the country’s representative to various UN task forces and negotiating groups.
With vast experience in counseling businesses, he directs the firm’s company law practice, providing counsel on all types of commercial operations, contract negotiations, asset and corporate restructuring operations, the stock market, and daily business development.
In addition to serving as the firm’s president, he is the lead counsel for Ecuador’s largest company.
