
She is an expert consultant in corporate governance, family businesses, boards, and business sustainability. Additionally, she advises on public policies, government strategy, economic development, investment, and poverty reduction.
She was the Strategic Advisor to the Minister of Economy and Finance, hired by the Inter- American Development Bank. She was the Chairman of the Board of Moderna Alimentos Group, one of the largest milling and baking companies in Ecuador, owned by local and American partners. She was a member of the Board of the Metropolitan Hospital. Previously, she was a senior consultant at Palladium Group, specializing in investment attraction and business advisory. For over 10 years, she worked for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) as Project Manager, and more recently, as Director of the Economic Growth Office. At London Economics in Cambridge, MA, she advised on regulatory processes for public utility companies in several Latin American countries.
As a lawyer, she has represented companies and individuals in corporate matters and investment establishment, as well as the state in modernization processes. For the Ecuadorian Government, she has worked on institutional reform, modernization, and productive development.
