
She has more than 30 years of experience in Information Technology, Information Security, and Cybersecurity, with a professional background in multinational companies and leading organizations in sectors such as banking, telecommunications, retail, finance, and consumer goods.
She specializes in information security governance, personal data protection, technology risk management, business continuity, incident management and technology fraud prevention, aligning security strategies with organizational objectives and compliance with frameworks and regulations such as NIST CSF, PCI DSS, and ISO/IEC standards.
She has led the creation and development of information security departments, the implementation and auditing of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), the design of technical measures, performance metrics and security tools, as well as the organizational training and awareness initiatives in information security and data protection. She has also participated as a lead auditor, computer forensics expert, and advisor on compliance with the Organic Law on Personal Data Protection, supporting organizations across various economic sectors.
Throughout her career, she has held leadership positions in the technology and financial sectors, including Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at the National Telecommunications Corporation (CNT), as well as management positions in information security and technology infrastructure at Corporación Fybeca, Telefónica Movistar, and Banco ProCredit. She also teaches in postgraduate programs and is an international speaker on information security, personal data protection and Industry 4.0.
