Héctor Barahona is a Lexvalor Abogados founding partner and our managing partner.

With extensive experience in company, M&A, commercial, and financial matters, his legal practice focuses on corporate law. He is well versed in corporate transactions at the national and international levels and has successfully practiced in the fields of trust law and the stock market, in which he is among the most prominent and experienced lawyers in the country.

He has successfully led the handling of strategy in arbitration and court cases in these spheres and currently serves as counsel to a few of the most important business groups in the country.

Before founding Lexvalor Abogados, Héctor was on the Board of Directors of the Ecuadorian Association of Fund and Trust Administrators (Asociación de Administradoras de Fondos y Fideicomisos del Ecuador), Trust Business Manager of Filanfondos S.A., and General Manager of Fideval S.A. Administradora de Fondos y Fideicomisos.

He is the current president of Lextax Servicios Tributarios Integrales S.A., Fundación Corazones Valientes, and Delfos Catalizadora de Negocios S.A.
